Dear Friends and Guests,

Thank you for visiting our Budapest GuestRooms website.

Travelling around the world have visited several cities and it always been the foremost importance having a pair of casual shoes and a cosy, calm and clean room where we could have a rest at the end of a busy day. Preferably we go on a sightseeing trip on foot or by public transport therefore can get acquainted with local architecture and can reach those places in the city, which are not found in travel books. Naturally we also see the appreciable sights, but this way during the days spent we can get an insight into localisms, discover cafes, restaurants, can enjoy theatre performances or concerts – so can discover the taste of history and daily life of local people. Those experiences are replenishing and nourish us during prosaic weekdays.

By these experiences I’ve dreamed a guesthouse where the travellers visiting Budapest can feel as well like we’ve done.

Budapest - my hometown –offers enough experiences to everyone on each and every day of the year with its beautiful architecture, with its unique and refreshing spa facilities, sport events, classical and rock music concerts and several cultural fests can replenish himself. And do not forget the four seasons – spring, summer, autumn, winter – in their entity all bring a special experience of nature to the visitors.

There may be practical reasons too to visit Budapest, You can attend conferences or have just arrived for a business trip and as in the city a plenty of modern, well-equipped dental clinics, and plastic surgeries or modern eye clinics are waiting for potential customers and their prices are also refreshing.

You just can be here on any occasion you are going to have a nice time, we won’t let you down.

The Budapest GuestRooms Bed & Breakfast is located in a quiet street in Pest side downtown, really at the heart of the city. All the well-known sights, undergrounds, buses or trams all are available by a few minutes walk. The rooms are brightly clean, spacious, safe, have own air-conditioning, kettle, fridge, private bathroom, and free WIFI connection.

Our guesthouse can fulfil both the needs of a business traveller or a tourist who would like to visit Budapest.

So - just do come and let us fulfil our promise!

On our homepage you can find all the main information for plan of your route, should you need some more help don’t hesitate to contact us. We handle your requests very promptly.

You can make your booking on this website at the top on the left under Booking menu or just write an e-mail to the following address - This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it – and we will answer it shortly.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Congratulations! With the opening of this nice place from your very first guests.

A szobák szépek, az ágyak hatalmasak és kényelmesek otthon sem tudok ilyen jót aludni. A reggeli bőséges és finom, az ellátás barátságos.

Budapest is a lovely city. It is very vibrant with lots of place to visit and enjoy.

The Guesthouse is well located, being located close to the Metro, trams and buses, learn to use them as soon as possible as it will save time and get you to anywhere you want to go.

Sightseeing musts:
1.)   The Castle and its surrounds in Buda. Super views.
2.)   The No2 tram along the riverbank.
3.)   A cheap way to cruise the river is by local ferry from Boráros tér by Petőfi bridge to Margit Island. The island is very interesting and pretty.
4.)   Visit the Jewish synagogue and Museum. (only 10-15 minutes walk from the Guesthouse)
5.)   Go to the City Park and Heroes Square. (Take the yellow metro line form the Oktogon.) It is quaint and the oldest mainland Europe.
6.)   Take the HÉV train from Batthyany tér to Szentendre. Lots to see there but do make sure to visit the Margit Kovács Museum. (An outstanding sculptress and ceramicist)

Eating:

There are hundreds of restaurants catering for a wide range of tastes and budgets.

Try the Spoon restaurant (riverboat) and the New York cafe (not for annoy but the wine is very expensive – coffee and beer much cheaper.

The Guesthouse is a super place to have as a base. It is attractively furnished with spaciory bedrooms.

Judit is a lovely person, very interesting, helpful and pleasant. Do try her scrambled egg and bacon. Thank you Judit for your kindness  warmth  help.
